Volunteer with WSA

As a community-based organization, WSA runs on the power of our volunteers. With dozens of parents, neighbors, relatives and friends lending their time and talents, each child gets a terrific WSA experience. Help make a difference in the lives of the kids in your community today by volunteering with WSA as a head coach, assistant coach, rec coach, WIST volunteer or team manager.

Become a WSA Travel Coach, Assistant Coach or Team Manager

WSA has developed a program to help parent volunteers with some soccer experience quickly gain the age-appropriate knowledge and skills they need to become outstanding coaches and managers.

Become a WSA Rec Coach or Assistant Coach

The success of rec requires reliable and energetic parent volunteer coaches! WSA will support these coaches with detailed practice plans and hosting a Rec Coaches Clinic before the season. During this clinic, WSA's Director of Coaching and Rec Commissioners will provide an overview of WSA's development philosophy and the first week's practice plan. WSA's Rec Commissioner will share subsequent practice plans at the start of the season. WSA's Rec Commissioners and WSA Board members will also be onsite at practices and games to assist coaches and teams as needed.
